About Mert
Mert is currently a Research Engineer at IPVM. He publishes reports about physical security, robotics, and video analytics. Mert received his Ph.D. from the New York University Tandon School of Engineering in August 2022.
Mert’s graduate research investigated the intersection of robotics, fluid mechanics, and biology. He has significant contributions to biomimetic robotics for zebrafish, where he discovered the effects of body morphology and drug use on social interactions. Mert has also developed models that unveiled the biomechanical systems that lead to schooling.
